Angel Bernal Robles is a professional with a diverse range of experience with electrical engineering, real estate, and finance. Angel earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical and electrical engineering from ITESM in Mexico City and later received his master’s in business from Harvard Business School.
Angel first started his career as a business analyst working with McKinsey Company before becoming a Risk Manager for GE Real Estate. In this role, Angel was responsible for duties such as underwriting debt and equity for commercial real estate transactions including office, industrial, residential, and commercial projects. After his time at GE Real Estate, Angel Bernal Robles joined LaSalle Investment Management as VP of Acquisitions where he was responsible for the investment of LaSalle’s first Mexican Fund in commercial, residential, and industrial development projects. Mr. Bernal further developed his leadership acumen as the CFO of Terrafina, a successful real estate investment trust (REIT).
Angel Bernal Robles joined MIRA in 2019 as CFO of the mixed use real estate development subsidiary of Black Creek Group and Ivanhoe Cambridge. Soon after, Mr. Bernal Robles partnered with Mr. Federico Cerdas to found Cobra Development Fund, which has become well known as a real estate fund with a hand in a variety of multifamily and residential projects within Mexico. Together, Mr. Bernal Robles and Mr. Cerdas founded a US subsidiary of Cobra Development Fund, Cobra Development Partners, and an asset management venture in collaboration with Roy Salsinha, Cobra Carmo.
